WVIC Eid Festivities

All are invited to the WVIC Eid festivities. Join us for good company, food, and fun activities for the children. More details will inshallah be available as the event comes closer. 

Where - Aleppo Park, 940 W Village Pkwy, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340

When - 4 PM to 8 PM, October 4, 2014. Food will be served around 6 PM.

Fee - $10 per adult. $10 per child. Children under 5 years of age are free.

WVIC 5th Annual Fundraiser

All are invited to our 5th Annual Fundraiser with Special Guest Speaker Shaykh Fahad Tasleem. Dinner will be served after Maghrib salah, followed by fundraising to build new masjid in the west valley.

MLFA Evening Speaker

West Valley Islamic Center is excited to host Mr. Holdbrooks, MLFA Speaker, for a Thursday post iftar speech. 

From The Guardian about Terry Holdbrooks: 

Finally, six months into his time at Guantánamo, Holdbrooks was ready. On 29 December 2003, in the presence of Errachidi, he repeated the shahada, the statement of faith that is the sole requirement for converting to Islam: "There is no God but God and Muhammad is his prophet". The Guantánamo guard was now a Muslim.

Mr. Holdbrooks will be speaking on behalf of MLFA and their work to help American Muslims.
