Welcome to West Valley Islamic Center

WVIC follows the Fiqh Council of North America's (FCNA) ruling for the start of Ramadan. Upon their ruling, the first day of fasting for Ramadan 1442 (2021) will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. For more information, see http://fiqhcouncil.org/ramadan-shawwal-1442-2021

WVIC will be having Salatul Taraweeh starting on Monday evening April 12, 2021. Isha starts at 8:45 PM, followed by Taraweeh.

WVIC will be following safety procedures that will limit space in our masjid. Therefore, Taraweeh this year will be first come first serve. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

A Few WVIC Ramadan Guidelines:

1. Every attendee must have a temperature check, mask, and a prayer rug at the entrance.

2. Attendees must wear a face mask at all times while in masjid.

3. Attendees must pray on the yellow marked spots for proper social distancing.

4. Attendees should maintain at least 6 feet distance between other attendees at all times

5. We ask no physical contact between attendees (hugging/kissing/handshakes).

6. Kids under the obligatory age of praying will be not allowed due to spacing and safety.

For your convenience, the WVIC Ramadan Prayer Times are posted on wvicaz.org/prayer-times.

Jazak Allahu Khayran
